As a child, I loved checking the mail, eagerly awaiting cards from my grandparents and great-grandmother for every holiday, birthday, and special occasion. My mom's words still echo in my mind: "Alexa, don't forget to send thank-you cards!" It was then that I understood the true value of sending gratitude - not just as a obligation, but as a way to return the  joy and kindness. 

This sparked my passion for creating personalized cards and gifts. I started making bookmarks and cards for my family, using printer paper and crayola markers. My mom still treasures one of the first laminated bookmarks I made for her.

As I grew older, I acquired more supplies and skills, experimenting with painting and various crafts. I loved personalizing cards and gifts for friends and family, bringing joy to those who meant the most to me.

In 2020, during the lockdown, I discovered wax seal making, which became a therapeutic outlet for me. I instantly fell in love with the process and added it to my holiday cards.

In December 2023, my husband gifted me a Cricut machine, which opened up new creative possibilities. I started making custom bookmarks, and my friend Paige asked me to create some for her gym book club. This inspired me to start doing custom orders. 

My husband encouraged me to take the leap and start the business. I'm grateful for his support, as the first year has exceeded my expectations. For me, this business is about bringing joy to people through bringing their visions to life. 

My mission with Alexa Send Love is to revive the art of stationery. In an era of digital communication, I want to help people experience the excitement of receiving a physical card or gift in the mail. It's a small way to show someone you care, and I'm honored to be a part of it.

Now, my great-grandmother and mom send cards to those they love, and I'm grateful to continue this tradition. Thank you for being part of the Alexa Send Love journey!
